A few of us gathered at The Mustard Seed Cafe this afternoon to have lunch, join in fellowship, and cut ribbons for next week’s Bealtaine celebration! We repurposed some old, torn sheets and curtains to add to our bag of Maypole ribbons. Cassandra and Grey cut while Pamela and Jacob tied. Wee Rowan supervised! Next weekend, rags will become riches as they transform into a magical, seasonal dance and fertility charm!

We had a lot of fun working together, and I hope we can do more informal gatherings like this. It was a great way to spend time with like-minded people.  I love gathering with grovies for ritual and workshops, but sometimes it’s just nice to have some tea and chat. The Mustard Seed is a great place for it, too, with their more eco-conscious meals and beautiful new seating area.

Thanks again to everyone who helped!
