We gathered late Saturday afternoon despite heavy snow. Some weren’t able to come due to family obligations or travel concerns, but we still had a lovely time. Offerings were given, songs were sung, and gifts were exchanged. As grove organizer, I learned more about the importance of a well-thought-out pre-ritual briefing, and struggled to keep the “flow” of the ritual when my husband suddenly had to leave the circle – and me with the baby. There were things I meant to do that I suddenly forgot! It’s always a learning experience! All the same, I think everyone had a lovely time. We continue to grow and improve!
